Résumé and Cover Letter Tips:

Résumé content should be targeted to the position in which you want to interview-remove the "fluff" and do not "reveal" anything that will make you look bad-it is not an "application").
Address the cover letter to a person (e.g. Mr. Jones) if at all possible.
Do not repeat in the cover letter what is already included in your résumé, tell them something interesting about your qualifications--and always remember to sign it.
Mail your package in at least a 9" x 10" envelope (do not fold it or staple it.
